Megan Michelotti, LMT is a massage therapist in Grand Rapids, MI.

Her educational journey into massage therapy at the Institute of Sanative Arts exposed her to the practice of Manual Lymph Drainage. During massage school, she duel-enrolled in a Bachelor's Level MLD Certification Program through MLD Institute International . With the results she saw early on in her case study clients, she founded MLD Therapy of Grand Rapids immediately after licensure, eager to bring this method of optimizing health and healing to Grand Rapids.
Megan views each client's wellness journey holistically, including through times of physical adversity like injury, surgery or pregnancy.​

Megan makes her home in Grandville. She finds great joy in raising her three boys and spends her free time camping and kayaking in the summer, skiing in the winter, and taking in live events and shows and practicing yoga all year round.
Shannon Sawlaw, LMT is a massage therapist in Grand Rapids, MI.

She graduated from Institute of Sanative Arts in Spring of 2024. She earned her Michigan massage license shortly after. She completed training to provide Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) congruently with her licensure prep courses.

Shannon's goal is to promote self-care and bring awareness to how affecting just one part of the body can have positives benefits on the body as a whole: everything is connected!
Outside of work you can find Shannon out on the lake, in the woods and surrounded by pets.
Amanda Van Werden, LMT is a massage therapist in Grand Rapids, MI.

She is a Graduate of Aquinas College, where she majored in Exercise Science and Athletic Training. Her massage licensure prep courses were completed at Blue Heron Academy, and she has since completed training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage from The Institute of Sanative Arts in 2025.

Outside of work, Amanda spends time with her spouse and two cats. She is an avid runner, and loves to bake and cook, and gift the whole office her creations.
Meghan Thocker, LMT is a massage therapist in Grand Rapids, MI.

Meghan joined MLD Therapy of Grand Rapids
the fall of 2023 after graduating from Blue Heron Academy of Massage Therapy and passing her licensure exams.
Meghan teaches and practices yoga regularly. She holds her certification in Trauma-Informed yoga therapy from the Mindful School of Yoga in Grand Rapids. She brings her knowledge and experience of yoga into every treatment with a focus on holistic wellness of the body and mind.

Meghan spends her free time reading, gardening and spending time with her family. They enjoy traveling together, hiking and trying new foods, especially in Northern Michigan!
Leelyn Koshar, LMT is a massage therapist in Grand Rapids, MI.

Leelyn graduated from Great Lakes School of Massage in Kalamazoo and obtained her massage therapy license in 2024. She completed in MLD training with the Sanative Institute of Arts in Grand Rapids in the summer of 2025.
She is passionate about bodywork and the impact it can have on a person's physical and emotional well-being. Because of this, she is excited to pour into her community with MLD and massage by empowering people to feel their best.
When she is not at work, you can find Leelyn creating art, hiking, visiting with her family, or going to Lake Michigan to watch the sunset.
Emma Polanski, LMT is a massage therapist in Grand Rapids, MI.

In the spring of 2025, Emma graduated from the Academy of Alternative Healing Arts in Grandville and earned her Michigan massage therapy license. She completed her MLD training through the Sanative Institute of Arts shortly after.
Emma is passionate about doing work that matters and helping people live with less pain and a greater understanding of how we use our bodies on a daily basis.
When not working, you can find Emma making music, walking her dog, or spending time with friends and family.
